I think about Pamela Colman Smith and the impetus to design the standard tarot deck, supposedly commissioned by Waite. Her mind must have be ripe with historical points and pure chemistry. I have recently been mourning the mathematical prowess of my youth and curious as to how to wrestle it back into the periphery.
