Moss Fairy Forest and the Mating Perch Fishery

A hike into the lake proved to me once again what a gosh dern city slicker I have become, huffing and puffing to keep up and hesitating (color me cautious) to leap across gaping abysses. I regressed to the age of five and ran around catching toads when it became apparent that the perch preferred nookie to bait and wouldn't go for the worm. A worthy expedition with amazing violent evidence of the Norwegian woodpecker's ant craving tree digging freakout!
