Agape at the plethora of AGAPE

The day before Easter, I went with Jason Havneraas and his family to a Camphill anthroposophic community- similar to the one that they live in- to witness the Saturday Plays, that celebrate the holiday with an awareness and ebullient spirit similar to a mixture of: church camp, pagan ritual, a hippie commune and a social work outpost with a multitude of mentally handicapped people that they look after as a part of the prevailing philosophy of inclusiveness. (Therein lies the background to some of the blank stares ...) My first venture into the country was...unique: A surreal outpost with natural visions.

Fisherlady Wendt!

And guess what?
Cod do not go for rotten fishcake as bait, believe it or not.
Unlike seagulls and pigeons when it comes to Chicken McNuggets, Nordic fish have no taste for their own.
Jason Havneraas took me fishing off the rocks at the fjord east of the city.
No tasty grillers for dinner, but spectacular vistas that seemed to justify the existence of well, just about anything.
